I think it's a bit like George Lucas with Star Wars. They have become obsolete, but the story is still there.

Or why the film is nothing more than the slightest resemblance to the novels?

We live in a "post-literate" society today. Who writes a novel, and the company, which estimates that the value of a film, they see the money for the film as part of the proceeds from the published novel. Most of the novels written today is likely to make more money as a movie than a novel.

But in the 1950s, when Ian Fleming began writing novels of James Bond books have a life. People bought the book to read, and a popular book could sell one million copies and readers like it for the next novel by the author.

Around 1960, decided that it would be interesting to make one James Bond movie. Then I saw all the novels so far decided, and that it has cinematic possibilities. Today, the novels with an idea to make films written, but at the time, not so sure, novels can be essentially dialogue and logic, not action, and although this is a very good novel would be a very boring film.

Later novels, novels like Harry Potter, JK Rowling, of course, I was thinking abFilms when he wrote! Some writers, some characters, like film stars in particular! Ian Fleming, but I never thought this way in his films.

Check out some of the great figures of the past - Sherlock Holmes is a good example. You did not even film by writing these stories, so if you look at all Sherlock Holmes movies, which have been made in recent years, some of them are even original stories by Conan Doyle. They just borrow the characters and the construction of a new cinema history "around.
